Register now for spring classes!Are you concerned about your child's communication development? Have you had your child evaluated for speech, language, or other therapies but he or she did not qualify? Do you think your child needs different, or extra support? Or are you just interested in getting your child a "boost" in areas such as language, literacy, and social development? Communicate For Life, LLC offers affordable small group programs led by an ASHA-certified speech-language pathologist. Our spring session starts March 12, 2016. Registrations are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Payment is due at time of registration. Classes run 6 weeks and last one hour each.

Exeter Community Library* 4569 Prestwick Drive Reading PA 19606 First Words Parent and Infant/Toddler Group - 1:00pm - $185 Saturdays March 12, 19; April 9, 16, 23, and 30th, 2016 This group is geared towards infants and toddlers 6 months - 36 months whose parents are interested in ways to support early communication, targeting the first 0-50 spoken words. Preschool Social Skills Group - 2:15pm - $185 Saturdays March 12, 19; April 9, 16, 23, and 30th, 2016 - $185 This group will focus on play and prosocial behavior for children ages 3-5. Our social skills groups focus on individual skills instruction and practice using role play, social thinking/perspective taking skills, flexibility in social situations, and repairing communication breakdowns. Preschool Literacy Skills Group - 3:30pm - $185 Saturdays March 12, 19; April 9, 16, 23, and 30th, 2016 - $185 This group will focus on teaching literacy skills to children who are ages 3-5 with emphasis on shared book reading, age-appropriate phonics skills, listening and early reading comprehension, and early writing skills. *Please note that this event is not run or sponsored by the library.
